Make a Photo Light Box

3 Step Photo Light Box

I started this project with hopes to improve my photography skills, and there was an additional perk that it was free! You can't beat free-99! To make this project even better it is simple, straightforward, and fast. I bet you have most of the supplies around the house already!

Supplies:
- Cardboard box in desired size
- Box cutter
- 4 pieces of tissue paper
- Tape
- Stapler (optional)

Time: 10 minutes once supplies are gathered

Instructions:
Step 1: To begin take the cardboard box and cut four squares on each side, approximately 1" from the edges. Make sure to be careful and properly cutting into the cardboard box with the box cutters to avoid any accidents.

Step 2: Take one tissue paper and fold it to a necessary length to cover the cut in the box. I folded mine in half and started on the longer side of the box. Lay the tissue paper flat over the box, and tape the front and back of the box. This will hold the tissue paper in place while you tuck in the other edges into the cut. Gently pull on the paper so it is taut over the cut edge and staple down for it to be extra secure.

Step 3: Repeat step 2 for the other sides of the box making sure the paper is tight and snug. Go over the box and tape or staple down any edges that might not be tight or are sticking up.

Then you are done! Enjoy taking amazingly light photos to share with everyone!
